THE STORY OF
MAUSHAUS
The story of MausHaus began with the restoration of a traditional farmhouse built in the 1800s in the village of Véménd. Instead of demolition, we chose preservation — combining authentic rural charm with modern comfort. Thanks to the classic longhouse layout, the guesthouse offers spacious communal areas, ideal for families, groups of friends, and smaller gatherings.
What makes MausHaus truly special is its peaceful natural setting, where guests can step away from the rush of everyday life. The surrounding hiking trails and forests offer active relaxation, while the sauna, private jacuzzi, and modern wellness experiences provide complete rejuvenation. The spacious courtyard, panoramic surroundings, and shared spaces create the perfect atmosphere for romantic getaways, friendly retreats, or special occasions. Authentic countryside atmosphere combined with modern comfort a beautifully designed and well-equipped accommodation. We stayed in one of the mobile homes and were lucky enough to experience it during the hottest days of the year, yet even then the sauna and jacuzzi exceeded all expectations, and the view was simply amazing. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming we will definitely return. Thank you for warmly welcoming our dog as well; he absolutely loved the huge garden.

We had an amazing stay and can highly recommend MausHaus! The peaceful village atmosphere and picturesque surroundings made it the perfect place to relax, while the e-bikes allowed us to easily explore the nearby villages. In the evenings, we enjoyed admiring the starry sky from the jacuzzi. The rooms were modern, stylish, and well-equipped, and we especially appreciated that each room had its own private bathroom. The only thing we missed was a cold plunge pool to cool off during the hot summer days. Overall, everything was fantastic, and we will definitely return!

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, while the kitchen was modern and fully equipped. We made great use of the foosball table, ping-pong, jacuzzi, and sauna throughout the stay.
